Durante estos días tan locos, en los que hasta he rescatado este blog, (imaginaos si son locos), he recibido muchos mensajes compartiendo materiales y recursos fabulosos. No puedo dejar de compartir, esperando que los disfrutéis tanto como yo, los cuentos de la fantástica ilustradora y contadora de historias Olga de Dios. Nature Hunt // Earth Day

Hello! I'd like to invite you and your children to a Nature Hunt at home. Yes, you did read well, at home. As we can not go out and look for little treasures from Nature like stones, sticks, pine cones, flowers, leaves etc. I propose you to look around your home and retrieve that fine stuff that can fill in that "Natural Treasure" cathegory, those objects that you and your family gathered through hikes, park days and picnic moments. If you and your kids feel crafty, you can use your treasures to design mandalas or other pictures. You can help your kids to take beautiful pictures to save their master pieces forever. Go wild and change the canvases, play with filters, combine colors... Another game that you could play with your little treasures is to reproduce patterns. Classifying and ordering are good skills, related to our Kindergarten stage, to practise with your children at home. For older kids, you can also give them codified patterns to reproduce, o...

Arena Mágica // Magic Sand

The House of Love Corp. 💜 Hola! Hoy os traigo una receta de arena mágica, cortesía de The House of Love , absolutamente fácil, apta para peques y que va a gustarles mucho, mucho. Este tipo de material manipulativo es excelente para los más peques de la casa, para trabajar sus manitas, coordinación óculo manual, etc... mientras desarrollan su imaginación y estimulamos sus sentidos. INGREDIENTES: 2 tazas de harina normal 1/4 de taza de aceite vegetal Para hacerlo simplemente hay que mezclar bien los ingredientes y listo! Para aquellos que queráis añadir un poco de color a vuestra arena os dejo este artículo estupendo de la Fábrica de Peques , donde explican su receta con colorante. Además, no quiero quedarme sin compartir este tutorial de Bbmundo , que me pareció "receta casera de arena mágica nivel Dios", por los ingredientes, más elaborados, pero también por el resultado expectacular. Lemon Volcanoes

Hello! Next week we have planned some activities related to fruits and vegetables for our children from school. We have also prepared a great experiment that you can do at home: lemon volcanoes. MATERIALS: 1 or 2 lemons. Baking soda. Food coloring (optional). A little stick. PROCEDURE: First we have to cut the lemon's top and bottom, so you can place the lemon standing and they don't fall. Carve a little bit of the pulp, to make some room for the baking soda. Add some food colouring, in the hole you 've made before, if you want to make the eruption more expectacular. Pour a couple of tea spoons of baking soda inside too. With a wooden stick, let your child to prick the lemon to let the juice out and mix with the baking soda and enjoy the expectacle.
