Hello! I'd like to invite you and your children to a Nature Hunt at home. Yes, you did read well, at home. As we can not go out and look for little treasures from Nature like stones, sticks, pine cones, flowers, leaves etc. I propose you to look around your home and retrieve that fine stuff that can fill in that "Natural Treasure" cathegory, those objects that you and your family gathered through hikes, park days and picnic moments. If you and your kids feel crafty, you can use your treasures to design mandalas or other pictures. You can help your kids to take beautiful pictures to save their master pieces forever. Go wild and change the canvases, play with filters, combine colors... Another game that you could play with your little treasures is to reproduce patterns. Classifying and ordering are good skills, related to our Kindergarten stage, to practise with your children at home. For older kids, you can also give them codified patterns to reproduce, o...

Hola! Hoy celebramos el Día del Libro, y navegando por la red vamos a encontrar muchas recomendaciones maravillosas para disfrutar de este día con nuestr@s peques. En este breve post os quiero dejar dos bonitas historias. Las dos hechas con mucho corazón y envueltas de un altruismo y una energía renovadora, que nos llenan de la esperanza que necesitamos para afrontar unos días poco usuales. La primera la comparte nuestra querida compañera Eli Sánchez Molla , Una historia no es solo un libro , y nos cuenta una historia emocionante a través de muchas portadas que encierran historias maravillosas. La segunda la comparten con nosotros Las Aventuras de Carla , In the blink of an eye , la podéis disfrutar en inglés o en castellano y es, también, absolutamente entrañable. Espero que las disfrutéis tanto como lo he hecho yo, feliz día!!!

Llevo unos días pensando en qué traeros para este día tan especial, que aún cobra más sentido ahora, cuando la mayoría de nosotros nos vemos privados de disfrutar de un simple paseo al aire libre. Es irónico, pero parece que, por fuerza, le estamos dando por fin un respiro al planeta, como tantas veces hemos reivindicado estos años atrás en un día como hoy. Por los años que llevo trabajando con vosotras y vosotros, puedo decir que tengo la suerte de pertenecer a una Comunidad Educativa amante de la Naturaleza, que intenta transmitir a nuestros hijos e hijas el amor y respeto hacia nuestra Tierra y todo lo que en ella habita. Muchas familias veníais al cole en bicicleta o paseando y, en los últimos meses, veíamos desde las aulas, cómo cada vez más familias hacíais un esfuerzo diario por traer almuerzos menos procesados y en envases reutilizables, prescindiendo de los plásticos que atiborran nuestros océanos y mares, buscando alternativas res...

Hello! Today I'd like to share with you a very nice yoga space for your kids to enjoy. It is called Cosmic Kids Yoga  and it is a site about Yoga and Mindfulness for kids. You can perform yoga stories following their videos on their Youtube channel . But if you address to their web site, you can access to their episodes selector, where you can choose the lenght, energy and kind of practise that you want to do. Hello! Wishing that you are spending a nice Easter break, here I bring you a very relaxing activity for children of all ages. These are the materials you need to play this game: Egg shells Marker Mace or hammer Dice Depending on the age of your children, you can design the game one way or another. I decided to craft it in order to review counting and number recognition. For this you write the numbers you want to review on the eggs, with a permanent marker. Then lay them in a tray, and provide your child with a hammer or similar, and a dice. They have to roll the dice and smash the proper eggs. Let them play in a safe place, so they can enjoy it as much as possible. I hope this game help you having a great time with your little ones at home. Hola! Para seguir disfrutando del espíritu pascuero os traigo esta guirnalda de huevos estampados. Seguro que decorar nuestra casa y llenarla de colores nos ayuda a salir de la monotonía que puede llegar a envolver estos días de #YoMeQuedoEnCasa. Para hacer esta guirnalda necesitamos lo siguiente: Una vez que hayáis reunido todo, el siguiente paso es cortar las patatas por la mitad. Podéis dejarlas lisas, o hacer algunos cortes decorativos con un cuchillo o cutter. A continuación se pone una esponjita en la bandeja que hayáis preparado para poner la pintura. Esta esponja se empapa con un poco de agua y la témpera que hayáis elegido, para ir "entintando" vuestro  tampón patatero. Al estampar tened en cuenta que el tampón resbala un poquito al estamparlo sobre el papel o la cartulina . Una vez que se haya secado la estampación, podéis seguir decorando con rotus, purpurina... o simplemente recortarlos directamente para sujetarlos al cordel de vuest...

Hello! I am so thrilled today for sharing this awesome book with you,  We're going on an egg hunt   by Laura Hughes , published by Bloomsbury. It is a classic from my Easter books library, and just by looking at it makes me authomatically feeling happy and puts me on an Easter mood. Our children love it when I read it to them at school, because of the story, the great illustrations and the flaps, of course. They love to lift the flaps. I am posting this read aloud version of the story by Janine from LolliPopsDE . I wish you love it as much as I do, and that it inspires you all to create a wonderful Easter time at home, that cheer up you and your children. Have a nice day :)
